Sister Ola Mae McKnight celebrated her 101st birthday on Monday, January 2nd. A birthday reception honoring Sister McKnight will be held Sunday, January 8th, after the 11 o'clock Worship Service, in the Fellowship Hall.

We are pleased to annouce that Greater Peace Baptist Church Boy Scout Troop 373 is currently recruiting members. The adventure begins with Cub Scouts, targeting males ages 7-10 or grades 1-5. The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, family understanding, character development, citizenship training and personal fitness.

Troop 373 has an excellent Boy Scout Troop that has produced three (3) Eagle Scouts over the last few years. We would love to have your son, grandson or nephew as a member. Our meetings are held at Greater Peace Baptist Church every Thursday (pack) and Saturday (troop).
